This is a very touching song about Cheryl's love of dogs. She started out writing it about Kitty (her Jack Russel), but the song expanded to all of her dogs.
You can watch a video of her perforing this song on YouTube: Video of Leaning Into Me

- She can capture me
- every single time
- Even if she's snoozing
- through the morning
- I could hardly be
- more adore inclined
- to see her face
- all blinky eyed and yawning
- In this world of amazements
- it still blows my mind
- how the life in this creature
- can mean so much to mine
- Oh fortunate soul
- with so much I am blessed
- For such joys I am grateful
- and none more than this
- Racing out the door
- Flying down the stair
- Mrs. Muscles rolls around
- legs up in the air
- Quiet on the couch
- winter afternoons
- I come upon her sleeping
- testify and swoon
- She is no way the first
- She is no way the last
- They proceed thru my mem'ry
- a star studded cast
- They are teaching me something
- I don't have it quite
- But if I keep on listening
- one day I might
- She's an elder now
- spring has worn to spry
- Soft and gray of snout
- slightly blue or eye
- With her ears reclined to meek
- anyone can see
- I've become accustomed to her
- leaning into me
- Oh I've become accustomed to her
- leaning into me
