Cheryl was in Ohio on May 5, 2008 (Cinco de Mayo), and she woke up singing: "It's Cinco de Mayo in hmmm hmmm Ohio," and decided she needed to find a town in Ohio that would fit in the song. She ended up picking "Mingo, Ohio."

Cheryl then decided to learn more about Mingo, Ohio. She searched the web and found one house in Mingo. She then looked for various stores, but couldn't find anything. She then went back and checked the house, and it wasn't in Mingo either.

This song is a little ditty about this experience. You can watch a live version of Mingo Ohio on YouTube.
